|
Compstall is between Romiley, and Marple Bridge, on the south-eastern side of Stockport, south of Hyde. |
|
From the M6/M56/M60/M61 motorways, head to, and then out of Stockport to M60-J27, (M60-w south-bound traffic, come off at J25), then through to Romiley, on the B6104, for Compstall. Alternatively, from N.E. Manchester come down through Hyde, and out along the A560 Stockport Road to Woodley. Turn left at the village centre lights, and left again at the next set, on to the B6104, through Romiley.

From the Peak District, come via the A6, through Disley and High Lane across to Marple and then through Marple Bridge on the A626 Glossop road, turning off it onto the B6104 towards Romiley, for Compstall. |

| Equally, coming through Glossop, follow the A626, and local signs for Marple, but on approaching Marple Bridge, turn right onto the B6104 towards Romiley.

| Finally, on the Romiley side of the narrow stone bridge over the River Etherow, turn into the main entrance of Compstall Mills Estate, and follow the signs for the shop. |
